REUNION’s Privacy Policy

​Reunion is an EU co-funded project led by the Italian Ministry of Justice (IT), that integratesn AGENFOR International (IT), IPS_Innovative Prison Systems(PT), University for Public Administration in Bremen (DE), Loyola University Andalusia (ES),
European Strategies Consulting (RO), National School of Judiciary and Public Prosecution (PL), Baia Mare Penitentiary (RO) as Project Partners. The present privacy policy explains how REUNION uses the personal data collected through its implementation.

What data do we collect?
REUNION collects the following data:

  • Name;
  • Age;
  • Gender;
  • Nationality;
  • Profession/occupation;
  • Place of residence;
  • Email address or other form of contact;
  • Photos and videos.

How do we collect your data?

If freely and expressly consented, data subjects will directly provide the Consortium with most of the collected and processed data. REUNION collects and processes data when you:
  • Voluntarily complete the surveys designed and disseminated by the Consortium;
  • Accept and register to attend REUNION planned learning activities;
  • Register to complete the courses produced by the Partnership;
  • Accept to integrate REUNION’s Expert Group;
  • Attend the provisioned REUNION activities and sessions;
  • Participate in interviews and other dissemination endeavours.
Reunion may also indirectly receive and collet your personal data from the following
sources:

  • Contacted Bar Associations;
  • Associated Partners;
  • By referring to data collected in previously implemented projects.

How will we use your data?
REUNION collects your data so that the Consortium may:

  • Contact you for further integration and participation in future project activities;
  • Disseminate with you the outputs, results and materials produced within the
  • Scope of REUNION;
  • Certify the aimed level of quality of the project, and ensure compliance with
  • Quality, anti-discrimination, and engagement parameters.
If agreed, Consortium Partners may use your contact data for other relevant projects that
may align with your interest and area of competence.

How do we store your data?

​REUNION securely stores your data internally making use of encrypted, anti-virus and firewall protected systems.
REUNION will keep your data from the moment of collection until June 2025 (6 months after the closure of the project). This is to allow for the necessary evaluation period of the Project. At any point in time you may direct a request to the Consortium to modify, update, access or erase your personal data.

What are your data protection rights?
The REUNION Consortium would like to make sure you are fully aware of your data
protection rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

  • Right to transparency of processing (article 12 GDPR) and right to information (articles 13.º and 14.º GDPR) – you have the right to be informed in a concise, transparent, inteligible and easily accessible manner of how, when and what kind of data is processed, as well of the legal basis and purposes for data processing.
  • Right of access (article 15.º GDPR) – you have the right of confirmation as to whether your personal data is being processed, and where applicable, full access to your personal data and other relevant information as provisioned under article 15 GDPR.
  • Right to rectification (article 16.º GDPR) – you have the right to request the Consortium to rectify or update inaccurate data.
  • Right to erasure (articles 17.º and 19.º GDPR) – you have right to request the Consortium to erase your personal data collected for the purposes of REUNION.
  • Right to restriction of processing (articles 18.º and 19.º GDPR) – under certain legally provided conditions you have the right to request the restriction of data processing for the purposes of REUNION.
  • Right to data portability (article 20.º GDPR) – you have the right to request the Consortium to transfer data collected within the scope of REUNION to another organisation, or directly to you.
  • Right to object (article 21.º GDPR) – you have the right to withdraw your consent and object to data processing in the context of REUNION.
  • Automated individual decision-making, including profiling (article 22.º GDPR) –you have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling.
